The bulls were born in March and April, 2011 and were weaned in October. They are fed a high-roughage ration to prepare them for the breeding season without putting excessive weight on that may lead to injury. The bulls get a high quality mineral formulated by High Plains Nutrition, of Whitewood. Prior to delivery, the bulls are turned out on grass.
